Transformations: Translate



  1. What is translation. Translation is moving a shape from one area to another.
  2. How dose a vector works. A vector tells the person how far left, right or up and down. It kind of looks like a fraction in a bracket the only thing that is different is that the line isn't there. The top number means how left or right you want the number to go and the bottom number indicates how far up or down it needs to go.
  3. A real life example . If you want to move a building you need to use translation to see how many meters or kilometres it needs to go.
