Is the book disappearing?

The book is disappearing. Look around you how many pieces of paper can you see or can you even see a rare book in its eliminate, or can you just see technology. People on there phones, laptops, ipods, kindels and everything else that has something to do with a screen. Our world is getting so 'tech' that we barely realised this crime that we have done to our children. They will never read as many books as you did.

1/3 of our class reads on screens. Thats nine out of 31 people. But imagine in ten years time will books be extinct or will twenty years when they die out. Don't get me wrong, having a tablet or kindle would amazing. Kindles are more portable and are lighter than the 600 page book that you could be reading. They allow the reader to read everywhere and change the font size to there liking.

Libraries are getting more tech too. You can now hire an tablet at many libraries instead actually getting a book. Our school library even has Ebook account where every student in the school can read books online. Our libraries are losing a battle against books.

What do you think when our future generation might not even see a book in there life and we might have to take them to a museum to see one . What do you really think about our dying books.
