Rimu is the best syndicate at TIS.

I've been in Rimu for around two years and in that time I've realised that it is the best house for many reasons. Firstly, I've considered the teachers and the hard work they've done for us. Rimu teachers are the best teachers at making us 'grow our knowledge' during the year that we have with them. Secondly, the technology, Rimu house is the only laptop house, using laptops helps us work in a more independent way. In mainstream classes teachers and students struggle with only having a few desktop computers and some ipads, they also have to share the computer room, this makes it hard for teacher as she has to explain everything. Lastly, the Rimu house chant. Made by Mrs Mills last year, the Rimu chant shows the other houses that we are the best, as well as making all the houses scared, the Rimu chant has some humor (e.g when we say shift it to the left shift it to the right.) Although have a three days and a term till I'm off to college and have to say I'm dreading going. Rimu is an exended family that I'll remember forever.

Being a mum is easy, yeah right! First of all, the making of the lunches, every morning I wake up at 6 to get everybody's lunches ready. I find this really hard as my kids are really picky. Secondly, being the driver, to dance and back, to swimming and back and to school and back. I drive my kids everywhere which wastes my fuel and any spare time that I might have had. Another point of why being a mum is hard is the jobs that I have to do. I mow the lawns vaccum the floor and walk the dog while my kids watch tv, that really gets my blood pumping! Anyway, being a mum is hard, to the day that they can speak, to the day they leave home and start their own family.

Mr Diver, our principal in a paragraph

Mr Diver is the most successful principal because he can control a school full of tweens. Firstly I want to state that when we're at assembly he can really control us. What I mean is that he only needs to stand up from his seat and give us an angry look and 75% of us are silent. Secondly, if there is a fight going on he will be the first teacher in on the action. He races towards a fight and within a second he's spilt the fighters and is telling them off. Another example is that when we are giving our teachers a hard time he will stop us. He does this by walking into a classroom and asks whats going on, we all get scared when he does find out what's going on. Although there are many other examples to why and how Mr Brain Diver is the most controlled principal Tauranga Intermediate has ever seen I though these three examples captures him the most.

You can't publish anything new on scoial media, but you are allowed to keep the things that you had on today.

Labour will invest $104 milion dollars in new classrooms. I think that this is a good idea as I need the right education to get a good career.

Internet party will try to get free education. This will be good because you can get your education for free it will help the people who can't sfford there children to go to school.

Internet party wants to leaglise cannibise this is a bad idea. I know they want it to be health purposes but someone could just steal the cannibis from the doctors.

I also think that this idea effectrs me directly because if we give our gym to other schools we would be over booked all the time making it hard for everyone.

The labour party wants to give free doctor vists. I think that this is a bad idea because my parents will be paying free health to elder people who might be able to pay for the vists themselves. It effects me because my parents might not be able to afford something for our family.

What is a time zone? A time is when a country has different times from another (there are 24 time zones)

Why do we have time zones? We have time zones so people don't get confused about what the time of day.

How are the time zones set? We set time zones on where the sun is. If the sun is over head then it will be 12ºclock.

What is the international date line and why do we have it? The international date line is an inmagernary line that runs fron the north pole to the south pole (it is NOT the time meridian) it shows which country is in day time and which country is in night time.

Dialouge

I'm in camo leading a line of three people. Behind me is my best friend, Dan and behind him my other friend Kevin.

 "Ok guys stay here while I go closer," I mouthed to them
"No I'll go closer! you could get killed!" Dan shouted to me from behind
"You two both have familes that you need to get back to! I go!" Kevin shouted at the end
"I have to go, I'm closer and I'm the leader of this group but please don't shout, I know the tanks are loud but you guys are super loud," I said bravely to the guys
"NO I'M GOING!" shouted the other two in unisine
"We'll all go, just remember to stay together," I told the boys "THREE, TWO, ONE"

I that was the last thing I said to the two before they died.

My story of a foreign country

For our blog post we had to answer some questions to make a story.

I've been in this country for about two months, I went here to learn a new culture and see new things. The two people who were with me are my two friends Bob, who has blonde haire and brown eyes and Kevin who has orange hair and green eyes. I lost my passport while going bungejumping, it was in my bag when I went down and nowhere in sight when I came up. Losing my passport means I can't go back into my country, I looked for my passport everywhere but I just couldn't find it. While walking back to my hotel I felt like somebody was following me. I did not know who this person was and I was pretty scared. I started to run away from the person but  I tripped and fell on a indent in the path and I couldn't get back up because my bag was weighing me down. I then saw who was following me, a baby monkey with a passport, not just any passport, my passport.

My made up story

I have been on this planet for 200 years in your time.  I went here to discover life on a new planet besides Earth. I came here with my two friends Rufus, my excited border collie, he likes discovering new things so when I told him I was going on an adventure he put on his puppy eyes and now he's here with me. My second compaion is Mr sparkles, my teddy bear. He was born for space, he actually has a space suit that came with him! I must tell you that he was vey excited when I told him he was coming to.  Our space ship got damaged when one of my compaions put there paws on the control pad and crashed the plane, I'm very dissipointed in Mr sparkles.  Anyway we walked for about a few meters but Mr sparkles just stood on the ship and I was NOT carrying him. So me and Rufus continued the journey without Mr sparkles, but then suddenly we heard a scurring noise, at first I thought it was Mr sparkles but then I saw a monster or an alien local. Rufus and I ran as fast as we could but the alien was on top of us, I'm serious it flew! While looking up to see where the alien was I tripped and fell. The alein swooped down and gave me a plaster and told me that his name was Coll. Me and Coll talked for a while and quickly turned into friends. Now if you look on the planet of Hulu you might just see me and Rufus on Colls back soaring past the glaxy.
