Time zones

What is a time zone? A time is when a country has different times from another (there are 24 time zones)
Why do we have time zones? We have time zones so people don't get confused about what the time of day.
How are the time zones set? We set time zones on where the sun is. If the sun is over head then it will be 12Âșclock.
Which direction does the Earth rotate? The eartth turns anticlockwise.
How many time zones are there altogether? there are 24 time zones.
What are some of the time zones names? Central daylight time, Eastern daylight time
Which time zone is New Zealand part of? New Zealand standard time.
Name 2 other countries which are also in our time zone. Tonga,Samoa.
What is the international date line and why do we have it? The international date line is an inmagernary line that runs fron the north pole to the south pole (it is NOT the time meridian) it shows which country is in day time and which country is in night time.
