Homophones

A homophones are said the same way as another word (e.g your and you're.) They can sometimes be spelled the same way.

b) Explain IN YOUR OWN WORDS! (no copy and pasting) when should we use your and when should we use you’re? We should your when saying something like: I like your jacket.  You say you're when saying.  You're awesome.

c) Write 3 example sentences using your and 3 example sentences using you’re. These sentences should be about YOU and your life and not be copied and pasted.

You're happy aren't you?
Your dog has been dropping bombs on my lawn.
You're going home now.


d) Write 2 sentences OF YOUR OWN which contain both your and you’re.

You're happy because it's your birthday.
Your lucky that you're my friend.
