Sampling

Yesterday in Maths we learned about sampling.

- What is a sample? Sampling means to take a bit out of the population

- Why take a sample? You take a sample because it's safer, quicker and easier

- What are some examples of sampling done? There are samples in hospitals Science labs that do sampling

- What does the word ‘population’ mean? population means the people that you test

- How can you tell if are you sampling the right population? You do this by looking at the bigger picture and seeing who is really effected

- Yesterday you took a sample using one method of sampling, explain what you did and your findings. Yesterday I did a test to see whether kids in my class do anything after school.
